Success from hard work is not luck.

–Richard Branson

There are no shortcuts to success. All the so-called “Secrets of success” will not work unless we do. The one thing that matters and is of paramount importance is the effort that we put to achieve our goal. It should continue and never end.

Hard work often beats talent. If we give our 100% all the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

I would through this journal like to advise the dental students who are the future of dentistry, to put all their might in whatever they do. Let there be no half-hearted effort toward the achievement of your goals. Things done by halves are often never done right. There should be a goal in your mindset because people with goals succeed as they know what they are doing. It is important to remember that success is just a journey and not a destination. Knowledge alone is not enough; however, with hard work and discipline, it is worth progression. Forget good grades; success depends on commitment, passion, and optimism. If you put in your best, nothing can stop you from achieving what you are worth.

On a lighter note, let's not forget that success comes before work only in dictionary. Diamond is just a chunk of coal that made good under pressure.

In dentistry, a constant balance of clinical and practice management skills need to be honed and improved by a dentist that can dramatically enhance his/her ability to diagnose and treat patients effectively. This is success in the field of dentistry.

Here is a hope that you realize your goal and achieve it by all means.
